3Doodler Start Product Design Pen Set from WobbleWorks

Product Info: There's a whole new way to doodle and create with the 3Doodler Start Product Design Pen Set. It comes with the tools kids need to make 14 different 3-D products or create their own 3-D designs. Kids simply use an ergonomically shaped pen and 96 strands of colorful eco-plastic to doodle, draw, and design in 3-D. The activity guide gives you space to practice using the pen before you go on to creating useful projects such as a cell phone holder, a picture frame, a watch, a pencil holder, and more. The patterns for these are all provided in the booklet, though for some, you may need other tools, such as scissors or a small balloon.

Using the pen is pretty easy to do. Once it's charged, turn it on and wait for the red light to turn green. That means you're ready to click the big button once and feed a strand of plastic into the pen. The pen heats up the plastic so that it comes out as a softer material that you can doodle with. But the plastic isn't hot to the touch, so you can mold and shape it with your fingers if you need to, and you have a few seconds before it hardens, giving you time to shape your doodles the way you want them.
