As Taoist I use to walk and often do my meditation in the forest while it rains. My grand father trained me to listen to all sounds of the nature when I was 8 years old. It's an inner cleansing mind process that makes you feel so relaxed and in harmony with yourself and all the other people around you. When you empty your mind it's like to wash away all negative thoughts

In 1986, I ran the Lakefront Marathon in Milwaukee. My last "effort run" was a 15 mile church fund raiser the week prior at the church my then girlfriend went to. It rained about as hard as is depicted in this video. I remember hearing the thunder and being keenly aware of God's presence above. I felt the rain washing and cleaning my spirit-self. I was in the church basement after my run changing into dry cloths and hearing the congregation upstairs singing a all experience God in our own way. As a boy a man and now a senior I have been blessed to spend most of my entire life, work and play, outdoors in His creation and I thank Him every night for this beautiful life-time you are reading this, I'm guessing you are blessed in ways you may or may not
