🌿✨ What is the traditional application of Ayahuasca? 🌿✨ You might think it’s for healing any disease in the Amazon, but that’s not entirely true. This is a common misconception that leads to disappointment for many practitioners.

Just a few decades ago, Ayahuasca was a sacred medicine used mostly by curanderos (shamans) to analyze a patient’s condition. 🌱🔍

During this process, a master shaman could “see” and determine the origin of a person’s illness with heightened senses and prescribe the appropriate treatment. 🌟👁️

Such treatments often included a special practice called “Dietas with teacher plants,” which could last from 5 days to years. 🌸📅 This treatment might or might not include the patient taking Ayahuasca themselves.

That’s why it’s crucial for modern practitioners to focus on understanding their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual states to uncover the roots of their issues while taking Ayahuasca. 🌿🧘‍♂️ Only after this process can a treatment begin. With the support of an experienced shaman and nowadays therapists, practitioners can be “prescribed” a diet with plants or an integration—a mindful change in daily patterns of thoughts, reactions, and behaviors. 🌸🧠
