The Albertina is one of Vienna's most important art museums, renowned for its extensive collection of prints, drawings, and modern art. the Albertina offers a unique overview of art history, ranging from the Renaissance to contemporary works. The Albertina was founded in 1776 by Duke Albert of Saxony-Teschen, who was an art collector and patron. He established the museum to house his extensive collection of prints and drawings, which included works by renowned artists.
