It would be cool to do a “square” by marling the yarns throughout instead of alternating to get two triangles! Would create a square among triangles and would add a geometric feature!

Is the sweet shop blanket pattern something that you could make the squares into a pinwheels? I have been told there are video tutorials for the German short rows what do you think of the videos? Appreciate any information you could give. I’m thinking about making this blanket but I don’t want to invest a whole lot of my yarn in it if it’s not a good fit for me. Is this fingering weight yarn held double for both sections ( I love it) I only have 10 g minis so wondering if held double will this be enough to do each half of the square?
