What a great video! My favorite part was the tiny carpenter's helper.

our tomatoes are either green or in the flower stage. The week of 90 degree plus temps has not helped the flowers. Snow peas are coming along slowly but they do not like this hot weather. I did pick my first two decent zucchinis and have harvested broccoli heads and shoots. I am so looking forward to cooler temps. As usual your farm vlog is wonderful and the projects just constantly add so much to your paradise. So enjoyable. I saw something about garlic scape pickling on The Elliot Farm you tube. Very easy. Water and cider vinegar. I was luckily gifted some green garlic that someone who gardens on 5 acres gave me and I fermented it so I am anxious to see how it does and tastes. Love the textured jacket sweater yarn and pattern. As always, thanks!

I've been too afraid to try garlic scapes, and right now, I can't for the life of me think why. The neighbor across the street from my parents brings us some every summer, and they usually go to waste. I think I'll have to use them up this year.

Lovely video as usual, summer has been strange here this year, very late spring, we haven’t got the heatwaves thank heavens and this week we’re getting rain several days which is very welcome as fire is always a worry when there’s been no rain for several months. The Pesto looks a treat, you can make it with so many things and it is soooo 🤤 tasty. The girls and kids are growing so fast, the sweater is going to be beautiful and I can’t wait to see everything you’re doing on the farm, thank you for showing us what you’re doing.🥰🙋🏼‍♀️

Thanks again for sharing your homestead! The covered porch area is going to be awesome. What is the yarn you are using and is it local to you?

This might be a silly question, but what yarn winder do you have? Mine is very old and needs upgrading.
