Thank you ! Well done, no talking, no super jerky camera ( we all have to walk of course). A nicely done tour of the house! You focused in on the descriptions gave me a sec to hit the pause button and actually read them ! You panned around slowly so I could see the rooms and gave a pause here and there to take it all in. Thanks nicely done !

My very great grandmother Francis Elizabeth Hutchins was arrested for being a witch during the witch trials she spent I think 130 days in jail and she was finally bailed out at the end of the trials

The silence is haunting and gives a reflection of the darkness of that year of 1692. Beautiful home, dark history. Cannot wait to visit Salem next Autumn.

6:35 This beautiful antique is a bible box from 1699. No true Christian family would be caught without a proper bible in their home, which were were gigantic and expensive. Thus, they protected their treasured possession inside a very ornate bible box that included a small inside shelf for an ink well, quills and plenty of space for the good book. The box could also double as a preaching podium. The slant is so that the book could be placed there and read to the family or congregation.
We are privileged to own one from 1666, the year of the Great Fire of London. Like ours, the bible box displayed at the Salem Witch House was made in Englad from oak wood, giving it its dark color. American bible boxes were often made of pine wood and are lighter in color. Thank you for the great video! My wife and I truly enjoyed our visit.

The Corwin House was the best museum experience I had in Salem. So much information. So much detail. This one was just so enriching. Definitely worth doing.

I’ve never been in, but I’ve seen the outside many times. I do live in Salem. It’s a great place to spend Halloween.

The Salem Witch House is a must when visiting Salem. One of my favorite trips. I recall the woman behind the register was kind and knowledgeable.

At first I thought “Why doesn’t he tell us stuff as you’re moving around the house?” It didn’t take long to appreciate that approach to your video skills, which are really well done. I love history, particularly Colonial. The only small thing I would change is when you focus on printed descriptions and explanations, go a little slower to give us a little more time to read then go back to the things spoken about. You’ve got a exceptional camera but, you’ve clearly mastered the skills to make this video exceptional. I loved it! Thanks for sharing a part of our history.

So they killed people accused of being witches when in reality they were all guilty of performing witchcraft. The irony!

Splendid job of vlogging with filming the documents slowly enough for us to read. Outstanding vlog that will keep us engaged as you share your historical adventures. Very good! Thank you!

What an absolutely GORGEOUS looking house! Thanks for posting this Mr. Tom - I found it (Somehow) cozy and comforting! I'm not a goth guy or a depressed, morbid teen who's lonely and obsessed with either death or the occult - I'm a Deadhead who loves classic rock and other instrumentally-based music....I've saved this and will come back to it the future though. Again, this was beautiful.

I like this video as it shows what things could be found in a 17th century house, in Salem, Mass. I have always been curious about the Salem Witch trials, in your country. Thanks for making this very informative video! ~Janet in Canada
