The guy just officially murdered the battery of his Laptop with a knife.... Get some professional tools man what you're doing is really not safe and potentially hazardous as lithium-ion cells are highly flammable so safety is a must measure when it comes to handling them which I'm pretty sure you didn't take into account.

If the battery is damaged or showing incorrect voltage then how to know which is the exact suitable battery which can be used for replacement ?

Hai sir my battery 6cells having 2000 mah each can i replace with 2600 mah or more to increase battery life ....does it damage bms if we increase

cells were scratched and damaged by the knife, try using plastic tools and less force for better result

Yeh buddy, I have installed 6 2600mah battery of same type 18650 but original one was 2000, now when I turn on laptop it's still showing battery needs to be replaced and battery percentage decreasing very sharply 😕

Dell D600 battery (C1295) With a jumper between Ground and the SYS PRESENT pin I can measure voltage and discharge the battery using a R/C charger /discharger. However I can not charge at the out most pins. No current flow goes into the battery.

If I put the battery back in the laptop it will charge it full again. Would you know if I need another jumper to allow the battery to accept charging?

terrible!!! I cut my hand 2 times for following the instructions in this video. And that I thought I was careful, since from the beginning I observed how dangerous it was to use a knife to open the battery, but I believed that it was the fastest method. Do not use a knife to open it, it is crazy and very dangerous!

I have not done such replacement so far, I thought to try but seeing the method in this clip which looks more dangerous than other videos with such knife on bare hand and pointing to the batteries... Hum, I don't want to try. What do you guys think?

Suggestion: Re-Title it as How to destroy your hand alongside with a Dell Laptop battery pack. Dude this is not as all safe and even should be suggested, Those are Li-ion batteries and you're using a knife very aggressively to open the enclosure and even dented the cells in the process.
