The BoC sprite is from the chinese version of the game, its not an old sprite, if you wanna take a look at it in game download sum texture pack wich is usually ur best bet

The BoC sprite is in fact that from the Chinese Version of terraria. However, it's from an old version so it is still in fact an old sprite, as the current BoC is a brain with a Gem instead of a jellyfish.
