I hate fast fashion but Fashion Nova definitely is the blueprint for upcoming brands when it comes to online marketing

Very informative video, thank you! On Fashion nova, I just can’t respect how they steal designs to make their clothes from individual designers to cheaply manufacture their looks. Fashion nova has definitely changed the fashion industry but not for the better.

His dad had the $, warehouse space in downtown and the contacts in the fashion district. That's the secret

It’s sad that a fast fashion brand is so successful, it can pay for mansions like this and make someone so successful.
But on the other hand... an in-depth video about Zara and H&M would be interesting. The beginning of each brand.

you lost me when you talked your way around shoveling ethical issues on the manufacturers, not the brands. we have been saying "oh, brands need to do a better job" for far too long. we have literally begun the process of burying the world in cheap textiles using outsourced slave labor. brands know what they are doing, the goal is to profit as much as possible as quickly as possible. the industry reached a point of no return in the damage it inflicts on the world long ago, on the backs of individuals willing to say "oh I agree brands need to do a better job" over and over again.

I think the brands are turning a blind eye to what is happening with the manufacturers they work with. They don’t want to know because it’s not in their best interest to know. That’s just my opinion. Anyway, great video! Thank you for sharing this 🙌✨

But Fashion Nova has also lost their influence not just because they are fast fashion but their models all have Bbls and the clothes are made for them. Fashion nova really took off when the kadashians were the beauty standard but nowadays people are going more for the natural look

Don't forget the fact that they are one of the main brands that copy luxurious brands' style and sell it for much cheaper. I am aware that FN is not the only brand that does this but they have actually become known for it in recent years and are one of the best next to Shein.

I don't understand your reasoning here. Fashion Nova produces clothes intended for clubbing. So first of all, these clothes will not be used a lot and no one really needs a lot of these clothes. It was founded because it is unacceptable to be photographed twice in the same outfit. So instead of having 2 good quality outfits you can now have 20, 40 or however many outfits because they are cheap. And you don't have to wear any of these more than once (due to the quality, you probably won't be able to use them more than once anyway), what a great concept. And you mean Fashion Nova doesn't know what the consequences are? This is really ridiculous. Fashion Nova wants to make money, no matter what the impact on the environment and society is, and they know what they're doing.

I’m sorry to say, but many of the facts in this video are very wrong. I spent over 30 years in fashion industry, and I’m now retired at the age of 51. The way fashion nova started as he would only go out and buy stock quantities from the downtown Alley. He never did any sort of cut ups or quantities in advance and no it is absolutely impossible to turn anything around in 24 hours. I don’t care if it’s the most basic item it will not happen you have to buy fabric and it takes the fabric 24 hours just to relax before you can even cut it let alone sew it. Up until only a few years ago. This is how his business model was. He went out into the alley, and he only bought stock items that were hanging in the Korean market. Recently he did bring in Greg Scott, who if you know anything about fashion is quite a person to bring on board. Greg Scott used to run BEBE. He ran bebe for most of bebe’s life. He then went and ran Arden B, after Arden b, Greg spent about 13 years at New York and Company. He is now at fashion nova and he is a very very strong merchandiser. If they do any sort of cut ups which means they are placing orders in advance. It is a very small portion of their business, and they absolutely do not work with 1000 vendors. No company in the world would work with 1000 vendors that would create so many losses. As a matter of fact, when retail is tough vendor bases shrink. They shrink the vendor bases so that the fenders can feel more important. The ones that are left standing and they will give the client better deals. In addition, the owner of fashion nova’s family was in fabric for many many years.

The influence of Black culture and Hip-hop should also be centered.

FashionNova has its scandals like all the other brands but they do deliver with sizing. And if you know how to shop right, the clothes last…
