FAIL While Installing LEGO City Platform & Shelving

In this VLOG I install the platform extension in the LEGO city and the new track shelving above. It went alright... but there were a couple failures along the way.

Can I suggest permanently mounting a couple of cameras to the ceiling that you can control/zoom/turn remotely? Even a fixed view would be cool. Occasional cuts to birds eye views while you are working on the city would add some extra variety of shots to your videos, and also another angle from which to see the finished work would be cool.

Always love such “wonderful” days like that. I dropped the bottom part of the Disney castle. I cried 😂. Finally got it together. Then lose it all. I did enjoy rebuilding it. I learned a lot.

When it comes to screws, i've got a good tip: use torx screws. It works so much nicer.

You know what, my friend? In the end, you still have a gorgeous family, and a magnificent City. 🥰 A few bumps along the way are to be expected. 💯 Like a few others have said, we live and we learn. Nothing too terrible happened today. A professional like yourself will have that castle rebuilt in no time. I understand though how it could hurt to see it smashed in pieces but you know what? A few other houses ended up that way and you rebuilt them without any problems. You've got this, Jordan. I believe in you. 🤗😎🎉

Hey Jordan! I love the new shelving above the city. I have a suggestion for the Ninjago area, to improve it even more. You can see that the Ninjago city docks set is a bit lower than the other 2 sets. I have a suggestion to kinda make the whole thing look pretty much the same height. It's by adding a Ninjago set from 2017, it's the set 70612 (the green ninja mech dragon) from the same line up of sets as the Ninjago city set. I have the set and it looks awesome. I think making it fly (with transparent pieces) above the Ninjago city docks would look amazing!

My man, my LEGO Star Wars Executor set has fallen off the shelf once and I really understand your pain with the Lions’ castle 🤣
Btw, I’ve rebuilt it in about 2 hours, so it’s not a complete disaster, wish you energy to rebuild it!
