Forget traditional musicals.

Imagine an entire musical set on a ship where the deck hands sing these shanty’s. Setting the scene pre and lost battle. Setting up trade routes etc.

I am from Maui, and the whaling culture still resounds there although not always happily. But I love this song and Colm does it justice.

One of the few sea shanty’s that I knew of before the sea shanty craze. My dad and I listened to a folk band when I was a kid and they did a couple sea shanty’s including this.
