lol when I first started and got this ugs infused it with dark cuz it looks cool and had no idea how powerful it is until late game where I realized it can reach 1031 AR with dark and lightning clutch rings equipped

Lothric Greatsword and the Greatsword itself really just made ds3 monumental

When I played one run with my cousin I did the sanme with the Astora Greatsword. Kinda the same thrust damage and everything got cheesed with the knockdown. Well too bad for everyone not strong enought to withstand that thrust but hey, I get stunlocked all the time in DS so my turn for that same thing

It applies to all Ultra Greatswords. Its only about damage and if you have a counter as we could see 1142 when ringed knight did some action and 940 when he didn't. I guess you can rig it even more if you had(or maybe you had already) hornet ring since thats thurst damage.

These are the kinds of tactics I think of whenever I see someone saying DEX is op. With a heavy weapon, you can control the pace of a fight by breaking the opponent's Poise in one hit; STR PvE is so much easier than DEX. For PvP, high Poise would be almost mandatory, but the worst situation you'd find yourself in then (assuming no blatant mistakes) would be a stalemate: not being fast enough to hit the opponent, but also never being hit, since it'd cause a trade, and you'd win because of Poise.

Back in the time when wielding a super-heavy weapon was rewarded and you actually traded speed for some extra damage and poisebreak. In Elden Ring, using a colossal weapon means you'll have ultra slow speed, worse hitbox, worse damage and worse stagger than a dual curved sword running attack.

Im using that and the cathedral greatsword in my build to swap between for effects. Im upset the lothric one has lightning added.
