Thanks, Justin. Your videos are extremely helpful to anyone trying to navigate this maze of software options, especially a total beginner like me. It really takes a while to understand what the various types of videos are, and how that choice influences the type of software you need. Animation (five types), screen capture with or without a talking head in the video, anonymous screen capture with a computer voice "borrowing" heavily from original sources, one large head taking up the screen and voicing informed opinions, a static picture with meditation music as the total focus, various "raw shorts" and pencil drawing videos... There's a better way than mine to separate the YouTube video categories. I'd really like to hear how you view the big picture of video classification.

Hi Justin, this is a really good review. Good that you compared it to fcp x and adobe. I've been using the unlimited option for over a year now and I have to say it is easy to use, worth the money and can do everything I need. It would make a big difference if there was a frame rate option - I record at higher frame rates. I also use xavcs and better colour correction would be nice as you say. I've got used to proxy files. And doesn't matter what spec pc you use.

Great Video Review. Enough so that I tried the free Account immediately. Sure enough, it uploaded quickly and the UI is very intuitive. However, the Free Account is so lacking in features that it is really nothing more than a way to force an upgrade to one of the paid accounts. Too bad because if I had been able to use many of the features I wanted for 24hours or a week I would have been included to pay for a Month's subscription and then sign up for a year if it really works like it appears it will.

Nice recommendation ...

I think it's understandable that WeVideo don't give high resolution preview because
(1) people can video capture the high resolution playback (with free OBS Studio or whatever other video capture software) ... that hurts their subscription income

(2) just as you mentioned, Internet connection speed highly affects the user-experience; lower resolution will ensure smoother playback speed, loading functions etc

But anyhow, sounds like WeVideo is quite suitable for those who does quick edit, software tutorial or whatever

Will gonna give it a try to see if they have the hotkeys config that is comparable to what is found on Shotcut video

Hi guys, quick question! So, I am a PC guy, but I'll get my first Macbook ever in a few days. I'm totally a newbie, actually never used a Mac for more than 2 minutes, ever. But! Here is what I am looking for. I would like to see my Samsung S7's camera on the Mac. How can I do it? Can I start/pause the recording from the Mac? And can i automatically save the videos on the mac, instead of the phone? How will I do this?
