Logan Hospital’s new Ward 2M is well on track to welcoming its first patients from early 2020.
Work is currently being undertaken to fit out and commission the building, and recruitment of 81 new full-time staff who will work in the ward is nearly complete.
The project is the first milestone of the Logan Hospital Expansion, a series of major infrastructure projects that will increase healthcare services for the Logan community.
Ward 2M will be a General Medical ward providing high quality, person-centred care for patients through a multidisciplinary team.
