As a huge Httyd Fan, I'm going to ignore the internet's criticism, I want to watch the movie and rather think of what I myself will think about it, not everyone's complaining about why it's going to be bad, cuz there's always gonna be something for people to complain about, if it's a cookie cutter movie, people complain, if the characters have different features, people complain, the list goes on!!! Live action movies are meant to be different, compared to the animated films.

The wait for this movie was absolutely worth it. I cannot wait for this movie to come out. I've been a huge HTTYD fan for who knows how long. i'm genuinely so excited for this movie.

Looks good. The only flaw I see is Astrid's hair not being blonde like the animation. Otherwise it looks fun! :) The Monstrous Nightmare, Hookfang, looks epic!!! :)

as someone who was a big fan of HTTYD. its not bad. but i feel the CGI needs a bit more foot work. some scenes look a bit more slow when the dragons moving. they dont feel full of life like the base movie. for example at the end when tuffnut sees a terror for the first time. if you watch the og vs this side by side you'll see that tuffnut doesnt even get to finish his sentence in the og. meanwhile in this he gets prolly 0.9 seconds of silence before it slowly pounces on his face making him fall down slow. in the og tuff is brought to the floor within the 0.9 seconds of inaction that the live action had.

im still going to watch with high hopes. but hopefully the CGI improves from the trailers. cause these dragons are much faster and full of life than this live action depicted. also i need to point out...ruff and tuff were TWINS. here they dont really look anything alike so if your going with that dont try to pretend that you cant tell the difference...other than that. im going in with high hopes!

I can't wait for this movie! It looks amazing, and it seems they actually matched it with the animated one pretty well.
Idk why, but i'm mostly hiped on seeing the battle with the Red Death.

I love how Stoick's voice actor in the animated movie is also playing Stoick in the live action one. I hope they make a live action of all the movies.

Honestly I loved the animated ones but I think I'll love the live action too. I just wanna hear how the Forbidden Friendship, Romantic Flight and Test Drive soundtracks will sound.
