Love your can-do attitude Tom. I have been enjoying all your projects and how to videos. When we bought our house I was so intimidated by figuring out how to do a lot of things I wanted to do to our house. Thankfully I have a handy husband and with his help at times, lots of research and some trial and error we have done so much to our house. We did a tile backsplash and I recently helped my mother-in-law do a subway tile backsplash in her kitchen. At first I was so intimidated but it really wasn't too difficult of a process and I felt so much more confident the second time. I really appreciate your tips and encouragement! 😊

I'm enjoying your diy videos. As a 73 year old woman, I know, not your normal groupie, I have been the one in charge of all DIY in my home. My husband didn't have a clue how to fix things or renovate. I've enjoyed doing it myself as much as possible and still do. I pay close attention to how you do things. I giggled when you commented on not being able to rely upon contractors/hired help to stick with a job for any length of time. I experience that all the time on projects that are to big for me to do. I thought it was just me they were inconsistent with.

The $80+ is so worth it!
Tile backsplash just finishes off the look of a kitchen. It’s durable and doesn’t require repainting and messing with water and splatter on painted dry wall.

Tom, be sure and show us the finished tile cleaned and buffed. For those us who tend towards wanting the details finished, it is more satisfying if the tiles are buffed, the Formica edges are finished (not raw) and the switch plates are installed. I’m dying to see that 😂😂😂 ❤️

Pam here….the best, easiest, cheapest and classiest back splash we have ever done….we put up these plastic molded panels that look like tin ceilings, we put the copper up. We got at Home Depot. Just some adhesive and the edges snapped into an H channel peice…there were end channels. Shazam. Been 14 years and still looks sharp and we get so many compliments on it. Comes in white, silver, antiqued pewter, copper ect…wil do it again and again. So durable easy to clean, spatters from stove…wipe off. LOVE IT!!
