Hello, I’m a local living in Istanbul. The place you went to at 4:30 is more of an entertainment venue, but the taste of the çiğ köfte (the dish you tried :D) there is far from authentic. The ingredients don’t blend well together at all. I recommend trying çiğ köfte again at a place known for making it properly.

The reason they use mirrors is they want their shop look more spacious rents are very high in some areas so shops buffets and restaurant have small spaces
