The old code still works, how do you delete the previous owners code?

Thanks! Mine is about 15 years old, has purple square button and orange light. It worked, changed my code. Opener flashed as you said. Much appreciated sir👍

Hi there, I've searched and can't seem to find instructions for adding a second code to the 8787Max keypad (not a temporary pin, a second one for roomates to use, that I can cancel when they move on). Is the only way to do this by adding a temp pin? Thanks in advance.
