Unlike Xingqiu, Yelan’s E ties all her kits together (well most of them)
Using E deals dmg, yes, but also trigger the Q procs AND reset breakthrough (CA) buff
Plus Xingqiu 22s CD is just too much to try to reduce
I’m still not recommending TF on Yelan, but yeah, i can see why people want to do that

Unfortunately in a taser team yelan and xingqiu are usually the aura characters bc of how much hydro they apply. Getting them to do the reaction is a bit harder so TF set has much less Value

Tenha I did a 167k Skill Dmg Yelan:
Yelan - Zhongli - Sucrose - Bennett

Yelan CA in the enemy -> Sucrose E for VV and EM Sharing -> Wait for hydro application to fade -> Bennett E -> Yelan E

I am currently using Stringless as weapon.

Running 2pc HoD and ToTM

Stats:
39k HP
178% Crit Dmg

I’ve never regretted C6ing my Bennet I was very wary. But I was using Amber as a DPS at the time and that 15% Pyro dmg bonus helped a lot.

would probably help get the reactions out and the damage up if you did the yelan techs instead of playing her exactly like xingqiu. she has good onfield dps even without c6, shit even without c1

TF is obviously for main DPS Yelan, and mainly for Taser comps. IDK if Over-Vape works with her but that comp will surely run into energy issues.

It's not worth using Thundering Fury 4pc on Yelan simply because the default E cooldown is too high, even starting at 10 seconds. It's a numbers game.
Even if you got multiple procs over time, you'd still be subtracting 1 second each from your starting 10, which is okay but not exactly mindblowing.
Whereas with something like Bennett E inside his own circle (anti-Lector shieldbreaker build), you're immediately subtracting 1 second from starting 2 seconds, which is HUGE.

I don't agree with the comment that having Yelan on the field is a DPS loss. I don't see her as just a support that can add DPS, I see her as a DPS that can add support.

i saved for kazuha and didn`t planned to pull her. But when she came i did ( just to see if i win 50/50 and that i don`r regret getting her) and now that have he, she is so much fun to play and very satisfying

Mr Tenha, while I do agree with the consensus that it isn’t really worth running TF Yelan, I do believe you’ve tested the build unfavourably.

An ideal TF Yelan team would be one with 2 electro offield units (so Fischl and Yae/Beidou), Yelan and an anemo unit, because you want Yelan to trigger EC. With XQ in the team and only Beidou the person triggering EC becomes mad sus and very infrequent.
