How to create a Modern Wiki with SharePoint Online

How to create a Wiki with SharePoint Online pages, templates and webparts.

This is a simple out of the box approach to building a wiki to share knowledge in our organisation. The appoach I use is intentionally low tech so anyone can build one!

I'm a little confused. Are you just building a web page from scratch? What functionality is the "Wiki" adding that you don't have to create yourself?

This is NOT a Wiki!! This is a random creation of some web pages.

I agree, this is so overly complicated. I came here as a total Sharepoint newbie, hoping it was as easy as a quick wiki page on a MS Teams site, which they have now abandoned on the new 'shared channels' functionality. I wouldn't know how to make a 'Communications Site' into a 'Hub'.
So frustrating when you're so busy and just want to make a quick signposting page full of links.

Can i access archived versions of older pages? We have a 500 page procedure pdf and willing to digitize it through wiki. we frequently update the document on a monthly basis and for audit purpose we would need an access to the older versions. Thanks

Hi Steve, Thank you for your demo! Do you know if there is a limit to the number of pages that can be added to the Site? Also, when i go to "Create SIte" i have the option to Create an Enterprise Wiki, is this the same? Thanks!

Hi Steve, that looks amazing. How did you realize that very full width of the page, and how did you implement the navigation in the right? Is that a Web part?

How do you get full page width like that? I've tried adding vertical section but still there is a lot of white space on the sides of the page.

how have you created right side menu? library, teams, technology?

This defeats the whole point of a wiki if you have to fake and bake it.
