Honestly, holly is one of my favorite dance moms. Like there’s probably only two big dramas she’s been in in the whole show. She doesn’t pressure nia, and half the time she’s the only one that makes sense-

Love this video, and it's 100% true that Maddie got solos every week while other girls like Nia barely ever got solos and didn't complain, but also there were weeks (rare weeks but it happened lol) where Maddie didn't have a solo and she did not complain. The reason she cried that time was that everyone else had a solo, and she was the only one who didn't get one, and Abby did it on purpose. It was such a cruel thing to do to a young kid and proof that Abby abused Maddie as well- just differently than the other girls.

The favoritism Maddie receives & then being shut down the moment she (or rather her mother) steps out of line sure feels like love bombing to me (for anyone who’s unaware, love bombing is a tactic used by abusers to lure their victim in & make them feel indebted to the abuser).

Haven’t watched this show, but just from this I know it is probably the most dramatic show out there. I feel so sorry for the kids, but to be honest, the cameras were pointed on the mums so much, that there probs could have been a whole tv show about the kids too!
