Igbos and Yoruba have existed together even before Nigeria had independence, history has never recorded a fight between Yoruba and Igbo. When the government sees that the masses are united, they will try to sow hatred, so that we will keep fighting ourselves while they loot the money for their family. Let us be wise like our uncle dele has said. Yoruba and Igbo are not enemies. The problem is the government.
Because we said there is hunger in the land, instead of them to provide solution, now they want to change the narratives by inciting tribal hatred.
Uncle Dele thanks and remain blessed.

This is going down the be one of the best Yoruba sermon for ages to come……. They would come back to this sermon from generation to generation bcos this are indeed perilous times …….i like that he address baba Adeboye too. Bcos right now we need those 1 million disciples wey him bring 10 years ago. Blinded elders are talking about “Oro” and GOD is going to rain judgement

I am not a Yoruba but I listened to the end to what he said. My wife came in and asked, " do you understand what he's saying?" And I answered, this man is one of the best humans in the world to listen to and he has transcribed the content. Despite the language he used, he always speaks to the innermost part of us. I listen to him every Sunday." And the discussion continued.
How I wish folks in our country pay attention. And those Yoruba people to whom this speech is directed will grasp the message today and not tomorrow.

THIS IS QUITE EMOTIONAL. I'M 54 YEARS OLD.AT A TIME WHEN WE WERE LIVING IN EKITI. DURING OUR HOLIDAYS WE WRRE ALWAYS VISITING IBADAN/LAGOS. MY MUM IS ACTUALLY FROM THERE WHILE MY DAD WAS AN EKITI MAN. THE HOLIDAYS WERE JUST LIKE VISITING OVERSEAS TODAY BUT ALL OF A SUDDEN, EVERYTHING CHANGED. LOOK AT HOW THESE TWO CITIES ARE TODAY! IS IT NOT TIME TO REVISIT HOW WE WERE GOVERNING YORUBA LAND IN THOSE DAYS? WE ARE NOT PROGRESSING AT ALL. IF YORUBA NATION WAS MOVING IN THAT PACE, I BELIEVE WE WOULD BE AMONG THE FIRST 5 NATIONS IN THE WORLD, STATISTICALLY. IF YOU'RE A TRUE YORUBA PERSON, YOU SHOULD BE CRYING WITH THIS SERMON...IT'S SAD.

As an Omoluabi and Omo Igbo 🙏🏻 this sermon hit differently.

Uncle Dele really went extra with the adage and translation(tho there are some adage that the English cannot translate)

More of these Yoruba episodes please uncle Dele. I have always told people around me that the Yorubas obviously do not realise their role in Nigeria. we are the factor that should stand strong, firm and speak with one voice. The educated have long left matters to the uneducated. Its never too late to make amends. Yoruba ro'nu!
