Useful review, thank you. Yesterday I ordered the Seat Leon ST 2.00 TDI (150) FR 4Drive - in France. Can't wait. Looked at the Golf, the A3, the Skoda Octavia Scout - and the Seat Leon ST. To my mind, the Seat Leon ST offers the perfect balance of fun and practicality - with a dose of flair thrown in. Good value, too. Its a personal thing, but I can't say I agree about DSG. I have always hated the slightly lurchy feel of an automatic. Perhaps I am old school - and prefer to throw the gears and be in complete control! I optioned the Panoramic sun roof and adaptive cruise control - both excellent additions, to my mind.

I'm 5 years too late but this video made me want one as I'm searching for my next trip car, I work 1 hour away from where I live so this seems to be a perfect compromise in cheaper but high quailty vehicles

Greetings from Ireland Thomas. I have a 1.6 TDI st with dsg gearbox coming at the end of this week. I've never owned a brand new car so I am excited. Excellent review Thomas. Great that you support animal welfare too, and that no animal needlessly lost its life to make this vehicle. Such a stylish design too.

Nice review.. I like how u don't have to pay a lot like VW or Audi models. I think u should also do night time interior video.. Just to show how the inside looks like at night

Looks Like a Nice vehicle, to bad its not available in the US.
I would want to see reliability reports and MPG figures on the US cycle.The Blue looks Okay but would like to see a little darker blue shade . I agree with you on interesting rims/ wheels.

Nice review, really helped me with my decision. I ordered one already (FR 2.0 TDI 150) :), but I got a reply that DCC and 4drive (Seat now offers 4drive also on FR version) don't mix. What is your opinion, should I go for 4drive or DCC? Is 4drive harder for long rides? Thank you for your answer.
