Cognizant Softvision Romania - Giving with joy

The past year has not been easy for today’s young people. Their education has been disrupted. Cognizant Softvision Romania partners with The Scouts from Bistrita and World Vision Romania to donate 561 computers to 16 communities in Romania. The $100,000 equipment donation targets children on the verge of dropping out of school due to lack of access to technology needed for online education.
Education is a critical engine that drives society toward success, and leveraging our resources and expertise in technology to provide children with access to education at home helps secure a future for all of us.
Here’s a highlight of this experience. After the hard work the Scouts put in with the 561 computers, we decided to invite them into our brand new studio in Cluj-Napoca, Romania for pizza and some experience sharing.
