The thoughts shared are absolutely correct, but it is just one side of coin. Rather, one should explore and do what suits oneself rather than following herd or high end jobs. There exists equally a negative side of high income jobs. Most of the jobs, companies said in this video provide a very poor work life balance. This video was just like making people hear what they want to hear.

Our farm worker is paid 20k pm, mostly works ~8 hrs/day, special bonusses if worked overtime and during festivals. Now so called IT companies hiring people for fooking 2.2 lakh/annum. Its very sad that with rising inflation, the salaries were not rising which ultimately leading to financial crimes. Financial scams, crimes from educated people are far more deastating for people and country as a whole

Failing traders come into the market and try to predict moves. they trade what they want to see happen. Experienced traders come into the market with zero expectations ready to observe and take actions when it’s time.

If everyone will provide services than who will provide real life products. Corona has given a blow to actual economic driver who were factories and product maker. India is far behind in product manufacturing and this is again a good time to grab the hold in core technologies. People in west are leaving these jobs because of burnout. These jobs pay high because they serve rich. But not that high that one can become financially independent

All the jobs which consist of repetitive tasks will get eliminated and will be replaced by automation.

Every where good package jobs are available for Software engineer/ devoloper. What about non IT engineer who completed his/her graduation 6/7 years ago. Very few people got good package (above 5/6 lpa) and rest 3-4lpa or jobless. ☹️☹️☹️

Forty years ago the only time the word “Leverage” was used was in the physics class when discussing Archimedes and his principles. Futures, Options, Unicorns, Warren Buffett, Startups, CNBC TV18, Gen z and credit cards were still light years away.

Thanks for this video Akshat...looks like I am in right direction..engineer working in supply chain, educating myself about tech and other stuff, not running after money, not switching jobs frequently ....hope it will help me in long run😀

I disagree. If you just look at following the money then you'll be forever unhappy and dissatisfied. Follow your aptitude. Forget the money..simple.

Akshat most of the startups coming today are from software, IT and CS background.
What should mechanical engineers do in such situations, should they switch their streams.

Just one industry is eating all the jobs. Soon they too will pay the price of this imbalance that is being created. Social and economic imbalance will bring the world to a point where the population that does not have will take over those who have. So those who have have two choices. Maintain the balance by giving enough back to the society or loose it when time comes.

We also need one more thing. Work culture generally in Indian startups is very bad. We don't get paid well for the amount of work we do if we compare this metric for other nations. This needs to improve as well.

Hey Akshat! Super helpful vid.
The last portion about hobbies and cross reading was my fav. We get a glimpse of your hobbies- from Guitar, to History, to Scandinavian cuisine through your videos. Would love to know more about how you schedule down time and spend it, engaging in such varied hobbies.
Thanks!

Many women are actually making profiles on places such as onlyfans and fansly amongst others and making more than 10 lakhs per year by selling pictures of themselves. This woman approached me for filing itr and I was shocked as to how much of earning potential is there for the girls in unconventional places like this

Hey Akshat,
Can you please make a video for finance professionals who doesn't know much about fintech/programming/coding etc.
What can we do in order to keep our jobs secured?
Because everywhere there is trend of fintech and we feel left out.

I definitely found this video insightful just like all other videos of yours, but had one observation to make. You covered categories like tech, finance, product management. Would like to know your understanding about jobs in the space of content creation, marketing, culture studies. Basically service based companies - we know see a schbang competing with an ogilvy. Asking because you are too now in the space of content creation and marketing is a major part of it.
