Hotel cancellation fee hack

Everyone knows this trick now and the hotels are going to change their policies

Doesn't work with Choice Hotels. Read the policy. It doesn't allow this. Once the reservation is past the cutoff time, there are no cancellations or changes without a charge.

Done it before, but waited till a later date to change it! Never had the „Bällchen“ to do it so quickly!

I learned this trick over 20 years ago. It's a good one, and with the web and your own account management, easy to do. No doubt they will start checking how many cancellations/reschedules you have to try to get back into that fee period again.

I run a small motel and this is understandable but not nice. We charge the fee because we have been unable to rent the room since you had it reserved, canceling at the last min doesn’t give us much time to rent the room. Your poor planning means we lose out on renting a room.

Set up a pre paid travel card and don’t pre pay your rooms… if they try the garbage just visit an atm … lol get fucked Caesar’s palace

What about ones with no cancelation allowed

You charge with a cc that has a low available credit line, that is if they haven't already charged you the first night. They go to run the charge, it doesn't go thru and I think your done.
