Decyphered: Sheff G breaks down 'No Suburban'

On the first episode of this new MASS APPEAL show—which examines song lyrics and narratives—Brooklyn upstart Sheff G breaks down the specifics surrounding his buzzing new track “No Suburban” and its remix. He also gets into some of the Kings County slang that accompanies it. “We use ‘blicky’ as another word for hater,” says Sheff. “Some people use it for grips, whatever. It’s however you want to say it.”

Sheff then reveals how his Haitian heritage affects his music and shows us his scars that don’t really need more explanation.
