i’ll be the paragraph person!

so basically this is a show called girl meets world on disney plus. (you might have heard of boy meets world which girl meets world is basically an extension of) the two girls maya (the one in the blue) and riley (the one in the pink) have been best friends for a long time. riley and maya signed up lucas (the cowboy) up for sheep riding back in his old home texas to prove that he could do it. what the girls didn’t know is that they actually signed him up for bull riding. maya pushed her feeling away because riley like lucas but maya got scared seeing someone fall of the bull that lucas was gonna ride and didn’t want him to get hurt. she really see down cared abt him. but after this scene lucas breaks the record for riding the bull and riley him and maya are stuck in a love triangle. and eventually in the show we find out that maya never really wanted lucas she just wanted to make sure he was good enough for riley.

Okay I’ll shoot my shot at being the paragraph guy. So basically Riley (dark hair) as always liked Lucas and everyone kind of ships them together. They tried dating but found out they couldn’t really talk to each other anymore and they were just awkward, so they went back to being friends. While all of this has been going on, Maya (blonde) and best friend to Riley had been constantly picking on and teasing Lucas- calling him lots of names (namely huckleberry and ranger rick). They kind of have this thing where they banter back and forth all the time. By this episode you can see Maya start to show that she does really care about him/ might have feelings for him. But she is willing to put that aside for her best friend Riley bc she obviously doesn’t want to take her best friends man. However Riley tells her not to put her feelings on hold just because she also likes Lucas. Then they leave the choice up to Lucas of who he wants to be with.

For people who don’t understand: The girl with the dark hair is Riley, and she has always liked the guy with the blonde hair, Lucas. Lastly the blonde girl is Maya, and for context Maya and Riley are best friends. Also Maya has never had any sort of romantic feelings for Lucas, only Riley has. Anyway in this clip I’m pretty sure Riley and Lucas kind of have an unofficial dating thing going on, since they both know they both like each other. In this clip Lucas was going to go on the bull ride. But after Maya saw someone going on it, she thought it was dangerous. So she didn’t want Lucas going on it. Because she thought he would get hurt and she didn’t want that. So she told Lucas that if he went on, she would never talk to him again. She said that because if he did then that means he hadn’t listened to her, possibly got hurt for a stupid reason, etc. But he ended up going on it, and she was mad because she told him not to go on it. In the next clip is when Riley realizes that Maya has feelings for Lucas. The way Riley found that out is she realized that Maya didn’t want Lucas getting hurt because Maya likes him. And Maya wouldn’t want her crush to be hurt. Luckily after Maya confirmed that she does indeed have feelings for Lucas to Riley, Riley was not mad and she was understanding and kind about it. By the way I could be incorrect about something I said while explaining the context behind this edit, because I have never watched the show the clips are from in this edit.
