Create a content modal using HTML, CSS and vanilla JavaScript

In this project tutorial, we create a content modal using HTML, CSS and JavaScript only (no Bootstrap or other framework!). As content, the modal contains an image and text, though you can use any HTML content. In part 2, we add user controls to the modal.
