I'll show you how to remove the door panel on my 2010 Porsche 911 Carrera S (997). This also applies to the Boxster and Cayman (987 general). See below for more videos:

Great video. It was very helpful when I replaced a blown speaker on my 2010 GT3. Prying the 9 door clips which are all all the sides and bottom of the door is nerve wracking. I broke 4 of them but had 9 replacements ready to go. I ended up leaving the wires connected because I didn't want to risk damaging them and I couldn't find a video that clearly explained how to remove them. I just propped the door up off the ground with stuff in the garage so that the wires weren't stressed and I was able to easily work around it to replace the speaker.

I've got a really loud rattle coming from the driver's door speaker area. At the same time, the speaker had a lot of distortion suddenly. I hope when I open it up that I won't conclude that it's too hard to fix because it just started a few days ago and it's driving me crazy.

Thanx 1 million!! This allowed me to fix the window up/down switch (just had to clean the contacts on the silicon board, car had been sitting for awhile), and save HUNDREDS that it would have cost going to the STEALership. :D Thanx again man!

Important part. The first triangle part, pull bottom to unclip 2 clips, then pull the triangle part UPwards, so you don't break the hook on top

You very nicely worked thought getting the door panel off and that'll be very helpful for me as I need to change my failed window regulator. But that will also require removing the door air bag. Does anyone know if you disconnect the car's battery before doing so if that may stop the airbag light from coming on? It's coming off either way but it would be nice to know. Thanks!

Do you know how to remove that inner door panel? I'm looking to replace the door handle gasket on the outside and it looks like both the door panels need to come off for that to happen.

I hate rattles, I usually go ahead and add some tape/zip ties to any suspicious looking wires/cables or components. I figure if I'm already in there, I should go ahead and secure everything I think may make a difference. Even if it only makes me feel better. LOL
