i already did all options in this video & somehow my phone still couldn't read it. my last resort is to factory reset my phone as the otg drive itself was never the problem bc my laptop can read the drive. its a hassle if i need to pull up my laptop evrytime i need to transfer some files to my potato phone. :/

Thank you so much for this video. I just bought myself a USB C drive to transfer my photos from my phone to it. I have a Google Pixel 7 pro. Only difference is mine said USB debugging. Instead of the default USB configuration. And I had to click the build number five times to get the option for developer.

If this doesn't work go to additional setting/system settings and scroll down click on otg connection and enable it

Tried every method and it still doesn't work, it's very weird because the other day everything was ok, my phone read the flash drive, my otg works with other devices. It just suddenly stopped. Do you have any other fixes? I'm a student and transferring files is a thing I do a lot and not having otg work on my phone is very bad for me. Pls help 😭😭😭

Bro my device is recognising my usb but it does not let me open any files in it, it shows empty folders.i tried opeing that same hard drive in pc and in another android it opened and all contents in it were showing

Still my s20 fe doesn't support the OTG. Does Samsung only support its genuine OTGs?
