Potential Tropical Cyclone Nine Threatens the Caribbean

Potential Tropical Cyclone Nine has formed in the Tropical Atlantic, and poses a threat to the Lesser Antilles as well as Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. Although the system does not yet have a closed center, PTC Nine brings the threat of stronger winds and significant rainfall that can lead to flash flooding and mudslides. Potential impacts for Haiti, Cuba, the Bahamas and the United States are very unclear at this time as there is higher than unusual uncertainty in the track forecast at this time. Please refer to your local weather office for information about your exact location.

Note: If PTC 9 becomes a tropical storm as is quite likely, it would earn the name Isais. It would also be the earliest 9th named storm on record in the basin

How it can weakening when it approach Bahamas when the wind shear is extremely low, the water are 29/30 degrees and there is no dust. Model are making no sense like Hanna

Why you calling cyclone In the North Atlantic Ocean and Northeast Pacific, they are called hurricanes. But if the same type of disturbance takes place in the Northwest Pacific Ocean, it is known as a typhoon. And in the South Pacific and Indian Ocean, cyclone is the correct term.
