So for this one, as I played first boss more aggressively and parry focused, I wanted to test out a more passive and dodging/movement focused approach. I think from doing this fight no damage, I learned a lot about the strengths and weaknesses of the combat in this game. There's a few things I feel that can be improved, but there's also a lot that I've enjoyed. I'll finish the demo first before giving my thoughts on it all, so I can have a complete idea of the whole demo to see the full picture, and I'll put all of my thoughts in the last video.

I just beat him. He's much harder in the completed version than he is in this demo clip. Faster, more aggressive and doesn't tend to spam use rage move unless he's close enough to make it count.

Despite everyone saying this is a spiritual successor to Bloodborne, the combat reminds me a lot of Sekiro. An aggressive, parry-focused playstyle seems to fit this game best. You playing more passive for the fight really showed the weaknesses of the combat. A lot of the attacks seemed queued to the point to where you can just sit back and wait for an opening, which I’m not a fan of. The AI for this boss definitely needs more aggression

I love the detail that if you perfect guard him enough his weapon actually breaks! And his moveset becomes toned down

What I did was just running away and make him fight the big police dude. U can "get over here" him while he is distracted fighting the other puppets and get a backstab in as well.

Putting this guy after dealing with the police robot, dog and the 2 sword guys is the biggest troll ever. I killed all of them and got so hype then realised this guy had beef with me for no reason.

Great work, was expecting this dude to hit way harder but he does very little damage and is easy to bait backstabs. Looking forward to the next one, really enjoyed the main boss fight even though I found the Parade Master to be the toughest.

Somehow, I like that line delivery is better than in the full game when he says "I'll kill you both, then string you up on the bridge!" Like he's he's talking to himself before the fight. When he yells it out more, it feels just right performance-wise.

Something feels a bit off with the dodge. It feels like the I frames are a bit too tight but maybe I'm just crying. Overall great game! Can't wait.

Usually when i play these types of games i'm more of a magic/ranged build. So i'm finding this tough😅 this boss' AI seems to have been tweaked as he's pretty quick and you can't run behind him quickly at the start to get a backstab now. Or at least i can't - he instantly rolls.
