UN launches global push to accelerate work on COVID-19 treatments

Leaders from around the world have announced they are teaming up to develop and deliver a coronavirus vaccine that will be accessible to all.

Work will start with a global pledging effort next month, aimed at raising $8bn.

But there was a notable absence from the meeting - the United States.

I feel like they have been slow responses to Covid 19. I wonder if the WHO is really doing much?

How many people on the WHO committee have medical degrees of any description?.. and if any do, what is their major field of study? Also..what is the backgrounds and fields of works of these people? How did they end up running the WHO after the major catastrophic outcomes they had caused in their previous jobs? I honestly want to know. It's a question everyone should and needs to be asking. I know some of the answers myself and believe me people, you wouldn't follow so blindly if you did some of your own research.
