P&O Ventura ..Family cruise to Amsterdam Part1

So we were back on P&O Ventura , and returning to Amsterdam . But this time we were being joined by 8 other family members . Our idea being that as Pearl was approaching her birthday it would be good to get the family together and help her celebrate the occasion .
For the 4 Grandchildren it would be their first taste of a cruise , and so we picked this itinerary just in case they didn't like the experience .
We had three cabins and Pearl and I hosted a different Grandchild each night to sleep.
Boarding all went very smoothly , in fact Pearl and I were let on 75 minutes before our boarding time , I think this was because of the big group that we were in and they all had much earlier times to board than us .
Unfortunately the weather was shocking for the sail away .
After unpacking we had a quick drink before getting ready for dinner , this was to be had in the Buffet . We then went to the Havana Lounge where we spent the evening listening to Pearls Favourite House band Pulse .
We awoke the following morning to another grey and dreary damp day , although it was forecast to improve later in the day .
By the time we reached Amsterdam it was full sunshine which was much appreciated . We were not getting off the ship until the following morning , tonight was the 2024 Euro semi final between England and Holland , how ironic that we were in Amsterdam .
So it was dinner once again in the buffet before heading to the bar to get ourselves a prime spot where we could watch the match .

Hi Pearl and Brian, only just managed to catch up, we were in Carlisle for the weekend, eating and drinking way too much, just what we need with the cruise coming up! 🐷 😂
