Using Runway Gen-3's new Video-to-Video, I was able to transform gameplay videos into something new.

Seems neat, but it's very clearly done with AI due to the occasional smearing or smudging with fast movement, and that starts to make me motion sick. Same reason I turn off motion blur in games.

Real-time Ai overlays would be cool, I already use real-time color swaps for my retro games with a shader.

In a not so distant future, texture, work, and graphics in general will be a light switch away from making it happen. This is kind of crazy. Imagine you just put together the basic skeleton or potentially use AI to build the basic blocks of a game, and then have it given any coat of paint you can imagine.
