The only reason the bid was accepted was the presence of Boehly, an experienced sports team owner. Clownlake knew nothing about running or even financially optimizing sports teams. They've got two mediocre sporting directors (remember Vivell left) & they listen to them & bring in generalist financial guys. Their CEO who just left was a Clownlake hire who accomplished nothing.
Considering that as part of the purchase agreement, Boehly was to be Chairman with ultimate control (regardless of % ownership) for the first 5 years, no wonder Boehly is cheesed.
((Egbahli would have same role for years 6-10)
You didn't mention the article said they were seeing if it was possible for one owner to buy out another within the constraints of the 10 year clause.
Clownlake running CFC completely unfettered is a scary thought.

Saying from the beginning. To convince investment company to put money in Chelsea, Boehly promised to return 2 pounds for every pound invested. I was talking all the time about what will happen when Eghbali asks for dividends. Now we will see. We were told that Roman didn't allow for majority shareholders to sell out for 10 years. So maybe it is another loophole to sell club? If Eghbali buys Boehly shares, we know who we are dealing with. But if Boehly sell to a third party it can be interesting, especially if a third party convinces Walter and Wyss to sell to him or her.

This could actially be a good thing. Like you said, there are too many cooks in the kitchen. If one owner buys the other out the club will have one vision for the future.
It is hard to tell who would be the better choice out of Todd or Egbali.

Todd has also said in interviews that he wanted to buy young players to develop so it's not very clear who wants what approach..

I always thought since day one of this dual face ownership/partnership was a big risk. Different opinions, with both not agreeing with each and one and other. When that happens that would cause problems.
