Since I was a baby freshly born out of my mothers womb my grandmother always called me “STAR” she just knew I was very special to the family. I got around the wrong crowd in high school and had a major battle with addiction but it was only the enemy trying to take me out. I SURVIVED and sooo grateful. I like King David's story. His younger years where spent fleeing and battling. Preparation for what was to come. My younger years were full of rough challenges and "How the heck is this happening" situations. Now in my 40s I can appreciate the lessons God taught me and the wisdom He imparted. Of course the journey is not over yet. Keep going forward everyone.

The evil one comes hardest at those he feels most threatened by. I struggled with a repeat sin until recently and what has helped me is to be PREPARED for battle…. Always. Be 4 steps ahead of the enemy. KNOW he will go after your wounds and pour salt KNOW his voice and use your discernment. I say a the rosary daily for protection and I also use the st Michael prayer in the mists of battle and instantly feel the Holy Spirit swoop in to save me.
