Η Τουρκία δεν θα κάνει πίσω όσον αφορά το ρωσικό αντιπυραυλικό σύστημα S-400.
Aυτό δήλωσε χθες Πέμπτη, ο εκπρόσωπος της τουρκικής προεδρίας, Ιμπραήμ Καλίν, σε συνέντευξη που παραχώρησε στον τουρκικό τηλεοπτικό σταθμό TRT Haber, μία ημέρα μετά την δήλωση του εκπροσώπου του state department, Νεντ Πράις, ο οποίος επανέλαβε την απαίτηση των ΗΠΑ, να εγκαταλείψει η Άγκυρα τους S-400, καθότι συνιστούν κίνδυνο για την ασφάλεια των χωρών που συμμετέχουν στο ΝΑΤΟ.
Όπως αναφέρουν ελληνικά μέσα ενημέρωσης, ο Ιμπραήμ Καλίν, ήταν απόλυτος και ξεκάθαρος ως προς αυτό το ζήτημα και επέλεξε να τραβήξει το σκοινί και να αψηφήσει για άλλη μία φορά την προτροπή των ΗΠΑ, λέγοντας τα εξής:
"H Τουρκία δεν θα υποχωρήσει σε ό,τι αφορά την αγορά του ρωσικού αμυντικού συστήματος S-400, για την οποία οι Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες επέβαλαν κυρώσεις στην Άγκυρα."

Turkey will not back down on the Russian S-400 missile system.
This was stated on Thursday by the representative of the Turkish presidency, Ibrahim Kalin, in an interview given to the Turkish television station TRT Haber, a day after the statement of the representative of the state department, Ned Price, who reiterated the US demand that Ankara abandon their S-400s, as they pose a threat to the security of NATO member countries.
According to Greek media, Ibrahim Kalin was absolute and clear on this issue and chose to pull the strings and once again defy the US urging, saying the following:
"Turkey will not back down over the purchase of the Russian S-400 defense system, for which the United States has imposed sanctions on Ankara."
