Also I really enjoy hearing about what it is that calls a reader to a book, so hearing your personal reasons for why you are anticipating these is great, but I know what you mean about not really being able to talk with conviction about a book, because you haven't read it. I just wanted to say it doesn't matter for anticipation videos and reading plans I am happy to hear just vibes, feels and predictions 😆😉📚💜

Definitely most interested in Ray Nayler's next, as so far The Mountain in the Sea is my standout of my reads this year.

Also I've seen Your Name several times (thanks to a friend who's forced everyone in our loose watchalong group to see it) and quite enjoyed it, and though I don't know yet if the book you mentioned is going to be up my alley, just know that I was right along with you thinking "Sounds a bit like Your Name" just before you said it. ;)

This was great - had no idea P Djèli Clark had a new book coming out! So excited! Also, Foul Days, The Tainted Cup and Fathomfolk sounds amazing so added them to my list!

I am super hyper for Jenn Lyons knew adult stand alone "The Sky on Fire" as I LOVED a chorus of dragons series.

The other books I am hyped for are all middlegrade and YA 💜📚
