Brooks story could have been a movie, I had him to score on Stake and he delivered ❤ He beat cancer, and is still playing and scoring in the premier league, deserves so much respect. As for the game it was a great game, I feel like we could have won 3-0 but pickford had some great saves.

Maybe Iraola is not top level (yet), but he has done and is doing a great job at Vallecas & Bournemouth. Promoted Rayo & placed it 12th & 11th in LaLiga, placed Bournemouth 12th last year & now they are 7th near European spots. Remember that Rayo had BY FAR the lowest payroll of all 20 LaLiga teams in 2021-22 & 18th payroll in 2022-23, whereas Bournemouth had 15th payroll in 2023-24 & 17th (🤯) in 2024-25 (but 7th highest net spending in signings in 2023-24 & 9th in 2024-25). So, again, maybe Iraola is not top level but he is indeed capable of doing a lot with not so large spending if management is able to find decent players for reasonable amounts and modest salaries.

There is still half season to go, but 18 points ahead of relegation seems that they have most of their job for their main goal done and that soon they might think about greater purpose this season and, if they were unable to get to European spots, they might still try to improve their best position ever (9th, 2016-17). Remember that Bournemouth had never played in Premier until 2015...

After the last game between us at Goodison, when we won in the last few minutes, I sympathised with Everton fans on this channel. They're the loyal half of their city, through thick and thin, and I wished them the best because they are a historic team - they were one of the 5 teams to set up the Premiership ffs !

Right now, I don't know what to say... I mean they set their stalls out for a draw in the first 10 minutes. All I can say for toffee fans, is that I'm at sympathy+++ levels. Their team looked clueless, uninspired, un-interested and devoid of pride in the badge and with no ideas.

It took a while, with more finishing quality needed, but thankfully Brooksy showed them all where the net is and we deserved the 3. UTCIAD !
