Designed primarily for use by the Emergency Services, this is a free-standing water-barrier for flood control, creating water reservoirs, damming streams and containing chemical spills.
Suitable for sustained use at major incidents. Easily stored, transported, deployed and recovered:
•Each section is simply positioned and unrolled
•Inflation is by the weight of the flood-water itself (which also provides additional stability)
•Automatically deflates with the falling water, and can be simply hosed down for reuse or return to storage
Can be used on various surfaces, including gently undulating surfaces. Available in various sizes (straights and 90o corners). Multiple sections can be joined simply with the integral Velcro fasteners, to create lengths of several hundred metres or to provide an enclosed area.
