I am curious to see how disc plays out for people long term. Will pod gun replace it entirely? Both have a different feel so I am unsure. I do think your mention of nade launchers is potentially true - it could replace DLs for a good number of people especially those who arent going to spend on pod guns early.

For me, DLs seem to only be viable when using the lock-on. Using the radius or at range is nice for support damage, but the drop off seems really significant and the clip on DLs isnt large enough to make up for the loss. I think adding a few more to the clip of DLs might be a good inbetween. Clearly it was over the top with the radius and bonus damage. But now, its really far on the opposite side.

Arcs are another story...

I think they should’ve just bit the bullet and made arcs a beam weapon. Would’ve been rly unique among beams, yet wouldn't feel as out of place as it does as a close rang weapon. And it might’ve helped beam’s reputation if the category had a weapon that the community thinks is goods (regardless of its actual strength)

9:30 a epic weapon dealing this much radius and meanwhile disc launcher are so nerfed that it seems impossible to see dealing this much damge even being a legendary weapon.

Saved 10k acoins painstakingly to unlock DL12 and get second copy ngl it does hurt to let go of this build. Never ran double DL builds because its unnecessary single build is OP enough fully vaporize opponents. It served more than I expectced its time to focus on alternate build that can flush out campers sadly idk what to pick. My plans are Stalker Disruptors, Eclipse Storm racks (waiting for SR offer), or Seeker (waiting for offer) FG12.

The DL and ARC nerfs don't really affect my gameplay that much. If anything they're assistive. I built my hangar for brawling. The nerfs now allow for better maneuvering to close the gap between me and the enemy.

Atleast now disc can't just destroy the whole hanger, but they nerfed every aspect of discs lol

Discs were ridiculous. It's about time they did something about them. Whoever designed them and then signed off on them to be allowed in the game in the first place was a moron, and the players just got used to them unfortunately. The arc nerfs make less sense, especially regarding the range implant not affecting optimal range.

What I'm afraid Plarium is doing is nerf good old guns/mechs so that the new ones will be more powerful, just so that the new weapons will become old one day and be nerfed too in favor of a newer addition. Thus turning the game into your usual cash grab, not worth your time type of game.
