I decided to undertake one of your recommendations and went to try the falafel in Fairfield. That particular shop that you recommended for falafel was where I went to. I got 15 falafels for $5 as well as some fried cauliflower and fried eggplants on the side. Was given a complimentary falafel to try as well as a small tub of their mango sauce on the house too. I was quite impressed with the taste and price.

The empanadas from that Latin American cafe you went to is one of the best. Next to that, I recommend the empanada bakery in Liverpool, also in Western Sydney.

You got the main ones, Happiness Falafal is insanely good value.
Other places I recommend is Franks Lebanese, and the various Thai/Laos restaurants on the other side of the station.
The RSL is surprisingly good also.
