Sourced from op shops - also known as thrift stores or charity shops - as well as some lovely online folks: Mac and Morgan on IG and Lavender Lane High Tea on IG who I also had the pleasure of meeting in person.

These lovely vintage linen pieces, vintage French fabric and sewing notions will be wonderful to include on my slow stitching projects and also to draw inspiration from.

I adore the beautiful vintage transfers of the birds and flowers. I look forward to stitching some of these in the new year.

I hope you find your own thrifty treasures for slow stitch or at least enjoy in sharing in my joy with my haul.

So many lovely things. Aww did I spy a little hardanger piece I think I did. Was thinking the other day I would make a few hardanger small pieces to use in my slow stitching but hadn’t seen anyone with this so maybe not the thing to use but I have the fabric and thread so think I I’ll have a little fun over Christmas and make a few little items. Cross stitch on the Dollie’s I am in awe of people who do this, then I saw the transfer of how they do it um I thought they just put crosses on like a drawn piece and were supper talented with making the same size, there’s a pattern ok I will keep my eyes open for some. Maybe I am not as in much awe as I was, lol I know I am fickle that way so could do. Gosh so many pretty things for you to use and add too. Wonder what will become of those pouches and must say very intrigued with what will become with the tea pot warmer, gosh you will be busy next year entertaining us all. Have a wonderful Christmas, I am at the eekk people will be dropping in mode ergo I be cleaning and reorganising a few things always fun. Best find I came across some silk thread I dyed in a course I went to aww so exciting have quite a bit want some badly dyed silk thread? It’s not that bad and aww supper soft. Would be fun to do again such a fun day.
