Chef serves up hope to Asheville community

As part of a new series on "CBS Mornings", the team surprised Lead National Correspondent David Begnaud with a plane ticket at the airport and challenged him to find a special story within just 48 hours of arriving in the surprise destination. This time, he was sent to Asheville, North Carolina.

There is a LOT OF MONEY in Asheville. My aunt lives there, and I have been there. It is a very artsy community, and the Vanderbilts used to live there. Money still exists there, and it is shameful that there are hungry people in Asheville. Biltmore is a magnificent edifice. I saw her dressed, for Christmas.

I've visited a couple times because of the Billy Graham training center. I drove from Charlotte once, and Raleigh another time, and the views are spectacular!
