Mach Loop RAF Hawks and USAF F-15 Eagle really low level, great sound.....

Cracking day, stunning scenery and good flight action.

First time seeing military jets doing low level maneuvers in Wales.

Started off with 2 RAF Hawks who did a couple of runs followed by a singleton.

The day was rounded off by a F-15 Eagle doing a couple of runs.

Great to see the USAF and RAF fighters flying low level.

The F15 was setting off car alarms as it was so loud.

Those F-15's are just on another level altogether. The F-15 was the first combat jet that could accelerate and break the speed of sound while going straight up / vertically in the air. So much power. They can reach a 65, 000' cruise height in 122 seconds, and they've been used in tests to shoot down satellites. This is all from a jet originally designed and first built in the 1960's.

How do you find out what days are best for watching, is there a schedule, or is it just a case of turning up and hoping for the best?
