Text-to-Speech in Home Assistant - It's easy!!

I have been putting off using text-to-speech, but now I finally got it installed. It is super easy! I go through from the start to use it on my gate and more.

Thanks again for a great vid. Have you tried the Azure voice stuff? I originally used the Google one but moved over to Azure as the neural voices sounded a bit better (less robot-y). Best part is my English Google Speaker speaks with an Aussie voice but only for TTS messages (and only last week I swapped it from female to male, which confused my daughter 🤣)

Hey Lars, what happens if you are listening to music on your device and then you get a TTS alert? On my system it stops playing the music and then says the TTS at the quiet level of the music and then it does not resume the music that I was listening to? So here is the problem that I have, I am currently listening to some quiet tunes in the background on my Homepod Mini. I fire off a TTS message and it stops the music and if I listen carefully I hear the TTS msg and then silence.
What I would like is to be able to listen to my music quietly while say making dinner and then if a TTS msg comes on I want it to play at a level I can hear and then resume the music where it left off.
Do you have the same issue and if not how did you work around it.

Hi, got a API-Error with service cloud-say of Nabucasa. Works fine with service google-say. Voice of cloud-say sounds nice. Any ideas to solve the issue?

Great video, I found after time I need to set the volume of the speakers first, beause peole lower volume for very soft music etc, used {"volume_level": ".7"}
Also can add a ramdon node so it send a different TTS measage
