Its an amazing thing, the Holiness of God. He made Himself vulnerable to a people He so desperately wanted to love, and He is still Holy. He fulfilled both sides of a covenant so that He could love us. He is still holy.

He came down to grow as a boy, but He is still holy. He became poor, so that we may become rich, yet He is still holy. He was mocked, and shamed, and beaten, spit on, and cursed and tortured, but He is still holy.

He suffered a criminal's death, yet He is still holy. He was born in to what appeared to be sin by the ignorant. He was a man. He was scoffed at by the religious. He was condemned by society and the government. He went the lowest. He was reduced to nothing. Yet still, somehow, He is high and lifted up.

He is the beginning and end. He rules all nations. He alone wears the crown. He created creation. He invented beauty. He is holy.

Amazing. My mom is the stereotypical christia that love hymns and casting crowns. When i listen to skillet at first, she asked if i felt God in it. I countered with i dont always feel God in the hymns or other christian songs, doesnt mean they arent christian. Then i watched pinkpop 2016, and i felt the spirit of God in that concert. I felt the same spirit of God in this song. Praise God almighty! Amen.
